Opportunities for everyone! Volunteers needed!

KS Wild depends on volunteers to get the job done. Our volunteers support daily office needs, serve as public ambassadors at festivals and events, and practice stewardship by getting outside to monitor and restore public lands. For further information or questions, email Jeanine today!

Here are some of our latest needs:

AnnualDinnerVolunteering.jpg

It our biggest party of the year! Each year we rely on about 50 volunteers to make this magical night happen. The Volunteer 'perks' are good, and positions usually run out fast.

We still need a few more volunteers to help as waitstaff, with our auction, and misc. jobs.

Send us a note at the link below and let us know what times you are available between 9am and 9pm Saturday Oct. 14th.

*We are looking for a few 'tech savvy' folks that can use a smart phone or tablet.

Restoration fence maintenance at Alex Hole wildflower meadow - Oct. 17th, 2017

Meadow-Fence-building-KSWild.jpg

Support stewardship on the beautiful Siskiyou Crest! This summer we worked with the Rogue River - Siskiyou National Forest to build a fence that now protects the sensitive wildflower meadow at Alex Hole from destructive cattle. Now, we are heading back up for annual maintenance before the snow season begins at this high elevation spot. Five to ten people needed, no experience or heavy lifting needed. Option to camp on the night of Oct. 16th.

Scenic vistas, rare plants, and camping - it's going to be a good time!
